Joseph Kevin Keegan, OBE (born 14 February 1951)[2] is an English former football player and manager. A forward, he played for several clubs including Liverpool and Hamburger SV.
Kevin Keegan spent two seasons as a Newcastle United player and had two spells as manager. He will always be revered on Tyneside for bringing the Entertainers and transforming NUFC in the mid-1990s. Keegan resigned in January 1997 but rejoined as manager in January 2008. Arguments with the club led to a statement in September 2008 confirming his departure.
