Circa 1995, two friends met in Kindergarten. Twenty years later, they opened Trollingwood Taproom & Brewery. The concept for Trollingwood dates back to November 2012 and was born out of necessity: Greenville offered very few options for beer drinkers. Before Trollingwood, Greenville was the largest city in North Carolina that lacked a brewery. Three years, a business plan, legal hoops, a name change, numerous setbacks and countless hours, we excited to finally bring our concept to the people of Greenville. We have received thankless support from friends, family, business leaders, government leaders and everyday citizens and cannot thank you enough. We look forward to serving you! Our brewer is a master of classic aleing techniques, yet he has developed an eclectic mix of styles that appeal to a wide range of tastes. He has perfected four staple brews as well as a lineup of rotating seasonals. Our taproom offerings are rounded out with experimentals and guest taps from the best breweries that North Carolina provides.
