Satulah Mountain Brewing Co. began as a passion project dreamed up by Highlands native Dale Heinlein, who opened the brewery in June 2014. Despite having forged a career in media production, Dale felt the pull to return to the mountains where he was raised, and to turn his home brewing hobby into a business.
