We have been brewing beer since 1978. Robert Loe applied for Federal brewing permits in 1986. The plan was to start a 15 bbl brewery in Boone, NC. Our main partner decided the micro brewery business was not a good fit and the brewery in Boone never happened. 22 years later, Stephen Loe decided to bring the family dream back to the drawing table. Two years later we opened Loe's Brewing Company in Hickory NC in 2010. After being open two years and the demand for our beers increased, we decided to expand and blend Stephens experience in food with the beer and open a GastroPub in beautiful downtown Lenoir. We now offer many hand crafted artisanal ales and lagers paired with a menu prepared like our beer with only the highest quality , freshest ingredients..
