We named our brewery after Currahee in honor of the Cherokee people who are deeply rooted in Western North Carolina as well as the brave men and women in the military who fought and continue to fight for our freedoms today. Currahee originally stems from the Cherokee Indian word which roughly translates to "Stand Alone."

We are proud to make available a few beers that are the foundation of our craft. Be sure to request them at your favorite watering hole or look for them in the beer aisle at your local store anytime they might be available.

Founded in 2015, we opened the doors of Currahee Brewing Company's 9,000-square-foot production and canning facility in 2016. We are proud to call Western North Carolina, more specifically the town of Franklin, North Carolina, our home. We built the brewery with beer aficionados in mind and invite guests to experience our nearly 2,000-square-foot tasting room and outdoor, German-inspired biergarten that overlooks the beautiful Little Tennessee River. Our brewing operations consist of an American-made 15-barrel brewhouse, 30 Bbl and 60 Bbl fermentation vessels, and a variety of wine and spirits barrels and Foeders, for aging and souring purposes.
