Anees Bazmee?s last film No Problem ended with a Gorilla letting out a gargantuan fart. So as I walked into Thank You, I figured, things can only go uphill from there. But clearly I underestimated Bazmee?s capacity for creating witless, soul-sucking cinema.

Tolerable only if compared to ‘No Problem’ but nowhere close to ‘No Entry’, ‘Thank You’ is definitely not ‘Welcome’.

Thank You (Hindi: थैंक यू) is a 2011 Indian romantic comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by UTV Motion Pictures.[3][4][5] It features Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Bobby Deol, Sonam Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Rimi Sen and Celina Jaitley. The film was released on 8 April 2011. Thank You is about three married men trying to have some fun outside their marriage. Akshay Kumar plays a detective who specialises in extra-marital relationships.[6][7] Most of the scenes in this film were shot in Vancouver and Toronto, Canada and Bangkok. Other Bollywood films which have focused around a similar concept are Shriman Shrimati, Masti, No Entry, Shaadi No. 1 and to a certain extent, Do Knot Disturb.
