X-Men: First Class

Charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants.

While fans of Marvel's famous mutants might be well acquainted with some of the characters in the film, there are a few new mutants joining the fray and a few characters who received a tweak or two on their way to the big screen.

It is a strange world we live in where an X-Men movie without Wolverine turns out to be better than a Wolverine movie without X-Men. Although, that really says more about the awfulness of Foxâ??s first â??Originsâ?? story

If you were nervous the latest chapter in the X-Men franchise might disappoint, I'm happy to report it's a huge home-run. Everything from the great script to the awesome performances by the entire cast makes this X-Men film my favorite in the franchise.

Sometimes being an arch-nemesis is a real drag.
