Qualcomm Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in San Diego, California, United States. The stadium opened in 1967 as San Diego Stadium and was later known for many years as Jack Murphy Stadium. Since 1997, the stadium's naming rights have been owned by Qualcomm, a San Diego-based telecommunications equipment company. The naming rights expired on June 14, 2017, but there are no such plans to rename the stadium.[4]
