The park’s terrific mix of more than 60 rides and attractions includes five world-class roller coasters and dozens of thrill rides and classic favorites. King Louie’s Playland, the special children’s area in the park, is one of the largest in the country, with more than a dozen beautiful rides geared to kids, many of which parents can ride right along with them. Kentucky Kingdom (formerly known as Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom) is an amusement park in Louisville, Kentucky. The 63-acre (25 ha) park includes a collection of amusement rides and a water park named Hurricane Bay.[1][2] The park reopened to the public on May 24, 2014.[3]
