Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl

The West Virginia Mountaineers (7-5) are going bowling against the Utah Utes (6-6) of the PAC 12.

West Virginia’s football team will be in familiar territory when it heads to Dallas in late December for the Zaxby’s HEart of Dallas Bowl. The Mountaineers flew into the Dallas Fort Worth Airport for both the TCU and Baylor games this year, and stayed in the Metroplex for both contests.

For the fourth year in a row, the University of Utah football team (6-6, 3-6 Pac-12) is going bowling, and this year’s bowl appearance is the program’s 12th postseason appearance under head coach Kyle Whittingham.

WVU’s athletic department, football team and fan base interested in their team’s bowl berth had a long wait Sunday afternoon.

The Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl is a postseason college football game played on 12/26 in Cotton Bowl Stadium broadcast on ESPN at 12:30 p.m. (CST).

Utah will face West Virginia in Heart of Dallas Bowl on Dec. 26.
