Joe Rogan was an appropriate choice as host of the late NBC game show Fear Factor. The actor-comic, who will perform at the Addison Improv, is not afraid of anything, least of all offending audiences with his politically incorrect humor. He's also not afraid of alienating his peers: Rogan has accused Dane Cook of pilfering material and had it out with Carlos Mencia onstage, dubbing him Carlos Menstealia. (It's a charge both comics deny, with Cook saying in a June story, I'm not a thief.)
