Illinois has six pharmacy schools that grant a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree. The College of Pharmacy at University of Illinois at Chicago is considered one of the top pharmacy schools in the country. Other institutions throughout the state offer pharmacy technician programs of study.
